Mentors provide youth ages 14 through 21 with positive caring role models, offer friendship and advice, and assist the youth with exploring career options and evaluating educational alternatives. Agency recruits and trains adult mentors, pairs them with DCF involved youth, and supervises the mentor/mentee relationship.
