Volunteer drivers provide rides to residents of Sherman without other means to medical appointments in Sherman, Bridgewater, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown and specific border towns in New York. Passengers who use canes, walkers or wheelchairs must bring them to the van. However, electric wheelchairs cannot be transported in the van; manual wheelchairs that can be folded-up are OK to transport. NOTE: Passengers who have difficulty walking must be accompanied by a caregiver or companion.
