Core After-School Lessons Program
Students in grades 1 through 6 (12 years old and younger) who reside in the West Rock, Dixwell, Hill, Dwight, Newhallville, Fair Haven, Beaver Hills, Long Wharf and parts of Amity, the Annex, Downtown, East Rock, Quinnipiac Meadows,and Wooster Square neighborhoods of New Haven
Free music lessons and group classes provided in violin, viola, cello, and doublebass. Once students are selected and enrolled, the program (including musical instruments) is tuition-free. Students are expected to continue through high school. Program serves youth who reside in the the West Rock, Dixwell, Hill, Dwight, Newhallville, Fair Haven, Beaver Hills, Long Wharf and parts of Amity, the Annex, Downtown, East Rock, Quinnipiac Meadows, and Wooster Square neighborhoods of New Haven.
