Transportation for residents ages 55+ or disabled persons will go to destinations within Newington. Reservations will be taken up to 3pm the working day prior to travel. Reservations are first come, first served, with consideration given to priority destinations. Out of Town Medical Transportation program for residents ages 55+ or disabled persons is available by calling two days prior to travel to the following towns: Bloomfield, East Hartford, Farmington, Glastonbury, Hartford, New Britain, Rocky Hill, West Hartford and Wethersfield. Residents who are eligible for medical transportation services through Medicaid are not eligible for this service.
