Early intervention to assist families meet the developmental needs of infants and toddlers who are experiencing a developmental delay or certain medical conditions that may cause delays. Families are offered the opportunity to choose the supports and interventions that best meet the child’s needs. Provides assessment, intervention, outreach and education, and transition to the child’s local education agency (LEA) at their third birthday. Supports and services are provided in the child’s natural environment such as the home, daycare, or in the community. Learning is enhanced through a coaching style of interaction with families.
