Provides food to individuals and families in need on the 1st Wed: 5:30-7pm; 2nd and 4th Sat: 9am-12pm.
Other information: US Department of Agriculture purchases food and makes it available to CT DSS who contracts with Connecticut FoodShare who in turn distribute the food to agencies (like Safe Net Ministries) that distribute food to eligible individuals and families. Foods include: canned or fresh fruits and vegetables; meats and fish; eggs and dairy; and cereals, rice and pasta. Applicants must be eligible for TEFAP.
