Freshplace Food Pantry
Model food pantry program combines food distribution with case management for up to 100 eligible low income families. Food pantry is a member focused program for individuals who are motivated in making a change in their lives. Individuals are provided case management services and food for a limited duration of time. Case management services focus on the root causes of food insecurity; employment and education. Individuals should be between the ages of 18-55 years old and able to be gainfully employed. Volunteers assist clients with pantry food shopping and preparation of fresh vegetables. Food pantry is open T,Th: 10am-2pm; Sat: 9am-1pm for twice-monthly visits by participating families by appointment only. Clients can participate in the program for up to approximately 18 months.
