Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible (HES-IE) program provides valuable weatherization measures to help renters and homeowners reduce their energy bills and make their homes more energy efficient. This program provides services to income eligible electric, natural gas and oil heat customers. HES-IE offers income eligible customers free energy conservation and weatherization services for the home. Services may include compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL), water heater wraps, installation of low-flow shower-heads, low-flow faucet aerators, door sweeps, thermostats, diagnostic air and duct sealing, weatherization, evaluation and upgrading of insulation, energy-efficient appliances, and broken window replacement. Appliances must be tenant-owned and not owned by landlord.
