Offers disposable diapers to homeless families and families who qualify for state assistance or who receive help from local social service agencies. Diapers are distributed at IHSP Daily Bread Tuesday 5-6:30pm by appointment only. Mobile diaper banks travel monthly to the Early Learning Center in Plainfield, the Danielson United Methodist Church, TEEG (call 860-923-3458), and the Ashford Social Services (call 860-487-4417). Applications must be filled out to utilize the diaper bank. Project partners: The WIC Program, The Healthy Start Program, Nurturing Families, Putnam Family Resource Center, Interfaith Human Services of Putnam, EastConn (Head Start), TEEG, The Thompson Early Learning Center, Killingly – Goodyear Early Learning Center, and Access Agency.
