Mentoring Program
Mentors are assigned to youth age 14-17, and 18-21 who remain involved with DCF and who are referred by DCF; Mentors must be age 18+ and have criminal CPS and DMV background checks

One On One mentors provide DCF involved youth with positive caring role models, offer friendship and advice, and assist the youth with exploring career options and evaluating educational alternatives. The agency recruits and trains adult mentors, pairs them with DCF involved youth, and supervises the mentor/mentee relationship.
