Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed) Food Security Project offers workshops, presentations and food demonstrations for low income families and individuals. Community educators work throughout Fairfield County with local agencies such as food pantries, mobile food banks, community organizations and other food programs to help people learn more about nutrition and health. Program connects people with food assistance from SNAP and other USDA food programs to help people and their family have the food they need to be healthier.
