Additional information: The SNAP Employment and Training program is a federal program created to help SNAP households gain skills that will increase self-sufficiency. SNAP recipients in Connecticut who are not receiving financial assistance from the Temporary Family Assistance Program may be eligible to participate. Also offers short term vocational programs at some Connecticut colleges and nonprofit organizations.
