Provides assistance and support to cancer patients only and their family members in the Greater Hartford area. Direct services include food, clothing and limited financial assistance. Referrals are also made to local and state agencies for resources such as food programs, housing assistance, personal and family counseling services, and Social Security benefits.NOTE: Food, clothing, and financial assistance are provided, as resources are available, to cancer patients and survivors in the Greater Hartford area only; Financial assistance is limited to $250 or less for needs such as rent payments and utility bill payments; Assistance cannot be provided for paying medical bills.
